Auction & Manheim Fort Lauderdale Car Transport

If you buy or sell at auction in South Florida, the car has to get from the auction lot to you. For many Broward dealers and out-of-state buyers, that means Manheim Fort Lauderdale, a wholesale auction at 5353 S State Road 7 in Davie. We arrange transport out of Manheim and other Broward auction and dealer lots every week, for single cars and multi-car loads.

This page is for dealers, wholesalers and individual buyers who need a car moved off an auction lot. If you move inventory between stores regularly, see our dealer auto transport page too.

How auction pickup works

1. You win the car and pay. The auction releases the vehicle once payment clears.

2. You send us the details. That means the year, make, model, VIN, lot or stock number, the release or gate pass, and the destination.

3. We match a licensed carrier that runs the lane out of Davie and set the pickup window.

4. The driver picks up at the gate. They present the release, inspect the car, note any existing damage and load.

5. The car is delivered to your lot, your home or a meeting point near it.

The step that holds things up most often is the release. If the driver arrives and the car isn’t released to them, it can cost a day. Send the gate pass or release as soon as you have it.

Manheim Fort Lauderdale at a glance

Hours change, so confirm them with Manheim before you schedule. When we checked Manheim’s location page on October 31, 2026, it listed:

  • Address: 5353 S State Road 7, Davie, FL 33314
  • Sale days: Tuesdays (Total Resource Auctions) and Fridays (open sale)
  • Vehicle pickup gate hours: Mon–Thu 7am–8pm, Fri 7am–10pm, Sat–Sun 7am–8pm

State Road 7 (US-441) runs right past the auction, with I-595 a short drive north and Florida’s Turnpike nearby. That gives carriers an easy route to I-95 and I-75. Friday sale-day afternoons and Saturdays are busy at the gate, so we often schedule pickups for the start of the next week unless your timing is tight.

Watch the storage clock

Auctions give buyers a set time to remove purchased vehicles before storage fees start. The rules vary by auction and by sale, so check your buyer terms. If your deadline is close, an expedited pickup can be worth the extra cost compared with storage fees and the risk of the car sitting.

Single cars and multi-car loads

  • Single units. Individual buyers and small dealers usually move one car at a time on a shared open carrier. It’s the most cost-effective way to ship.
  • Multiple units. If you bought several cars at the same sale, tell us all of them at once. A carrier may take several on one load, which can help the per-car price and keeps your inventory arriving together.
  • Non-running units. Tell us up front. A winch-equipped carrier is needed, and the auction may need to stage the car where the truck can reach it.
  • Higher-value units. For exotics or classics from a specialty sale, ask about enclosed transport.

Buying from out of state?

Auction transport questions

Can your carrier pick up the same day as the sale?

Sometimes, if the release is ready and a carrier on your lane has room. More often, pickup falls within the next few days. Tell us your storage deadline and we’ll plan around it.

Do I need to be at Manheim for pickup?

Usually not. The driver presents the release at the gate. You’ll need to be (or name someone to be) at the delivery end.

Can you move cars from other Broward auctions or dealer lots?

Yes. Any auction or dealer lot in Broward or south Palm Beach that releases to licensed carriers works the same way.

What if the car has damage the auction listed?

The driver records the car’s condition at pickup on the inspection report. Check it against the auction’s condition report when the car arrives.

CTA: Send us the VIN, the auction release and the destination. We’ll come back with a ballpark starting estimate and the earliest realistic pickup window.

Ready to get a quote?

Tell us where the car is, where it’s going and roughly when. We’ll give you a ballpark starting estimate, match you with a licensed carrier that runs the lane, and handle the booking from there.
