While you wait for your quote, here’s how to get your vehicle and paperwork ready so there are no delays when your carrier arrives.
01
Clear Your Vehicle
Remove all personal items from inside the car. Carriers are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle during transport. A clean interior also makes inspection faster at pickup.
02
Check Fluid Levels & Battery
Make sure your vehicle has a working battery and enough fuel for loading and unloading — typically a quarter tank is ideal. Check for any existing leaks that could affect transport.
03
Document Existing Condition
Take clear photos of your vehicle from all angles before pickup — including any existing dents, scratches, or damage. This protects you at delivery and makes any claims straightforward.
04
Have Your Title & ID Ready
Your carrier may request a copy of your vehicle title and a valid photo ID at pickup. Having these ready speeds up the handoff and keeps everything on schedule.
05
Disable Toll Tags & Alarms
Remove or disable any electronic toll transponders (SunPass, E-ZPass) to avoid charges during transport. Also let your carrier know about any sensitive alarms that may trigger during loading.
06
Confirm Pickup Accessibility
Let your carrier know about any access restrictions at your pickup or delivery address — low clearances, narrow streets, or gated communities. This helps them plan the right equipment for your location.
